Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support invoice processing and coding functions during an upcoming system transition. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact implementation project, with potential for extension based on performance.

Location: San Antonio TX

Schedule: Monday-Thursday in office, Friday WFH.

Length: 6 Month Contract

Pay Rate: $31.04

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accounts payable data entry, including general ledger coding for both PO and non-PO invoices
  • Process monthly invoice volumes ranging from approximately 7 to 1,000 invoices
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies, research issues, and ensure timely reconciliation
  • Prepare reports and accounting schedules to support financial operations
  • Maintain accuracy and compliance with internal financial policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting or business-related experience
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and analytical capability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
