    A growing organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to join its accounting team in a multi-entity environment. This position is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who enjoys working with complex transactions, learning new systems, and supporting a variety of business operations. The role offers exposure to multiple legal entities, evolving processes, and upcoming technology initiatives, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their accounting experience and grow within a dynamic organization.ResponsibilitiesReview, code, and process invoices accurately and in accordance with company policies and payment schedules.Manage accounts payable activities across multiple business entities while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy.Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, vendor inquiries, and payment-related issues.Assist with vendor setup, maintenance, and compliance documentation.Support monthly and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting requirements.Monitor invoice approvals and ensure timely processing of payments.Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure expenses are properly allocated and recorded.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist with future accounting system implementations or upgrades.Perform additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.1-3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred.Understanding of general accounting principles and accounts payable processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage detailed financial information.Comfortable learning new software applications and adapting to changing business processes.Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-department, or complex accounting environment is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.High level of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.#J-18808-Ljbffr
