We are currently seeking a highly motivated Supervisor - Accounting. This role will report to our VP - Finance and Accounting.

What You'll Do


  • Drive process improvement and overall accounting team efficiencies 
  • Responsible for all aspects of accounting including accounts receivable, revenue and expense accruals, bank/account reconciliations, etc 
  • Ensures monthly, quarterly, and year-end close are completed timely and accurately for regulation requirements 
  • Oversees accurate and appropriate recording journal entries and ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures 
  • Reviews monthly financial statements and fluxes  
  • Keeps Controller and executives up to date on all relevant and appropriate matters as it pertains to their position 
  • Monitors and supports taxation requirements for provision, as well as Form 1099 filings 
  • Collects / analyzes financial information and develops and maintains financial databases 
  • Ensures compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data 
  • Assists with ad-hoc procedures and tasks as requested from upper management 

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field 
  • Prior experience as a manager in accounting or related field 
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data, including financial statements and key ratios 
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience involving extensive work with complex spreadsheets 
  • Team player who doesn’t mind digging into the details. 
  • Understanding of US GAAP and experience researching technical accounting issues 
  • Highly motivated individual who can work independently 
You're great for this role if: 
  • Have 3 years in public accounting experience 
  • Have SOX 404 experience 
  • Knowledge and experience in managed care 

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions


  • This position is in office with the option to be hybrid. The office is located at 600 City Parkway West 10th Floor, Orange, CA 92868. 
  • The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $110,000 to $120,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location (current or future), experience, and other job-related factors.
