Accounting Specialist (AP/AR)

Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  <\/li>
• Review invoices for proper coding and resolve discrepancies or exceptions
  <\/li>
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships
  <\/li>
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions and ensure proper documentation
  <\/li>
• Assist with implementation of ACH payment processes to improve efficiency
  <\/li>
• Perform general accounting tasks including data entry and general ledger support
  <\/li>
• Prepare and post journal entries based on supporting documentation
  <\/li>
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules and assist with financial reporting
  <\/li>
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
  <\/li>
• Perform moderately complex spreadsheet calculations and analysis
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data
  <\/li>
• Complete additional accounting -related tasks as needed

  Requirements<\/h3>

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on AP/AR
    <\/li>
  • Strong experience working with spreadsheets and accounting systems
    <\/li>
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
    <\/li>
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    <\/li>
  • Strong communication skills across vendors and internal teams
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Qualifications<\/b><\/span>
    <\/h3>

    • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
      <\/li>
    • Experience supporting accounts receivable processes
