Accounting Senior (Job ID 0008)


Responsibilities
 
·       Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions and maintaining general ledgers.
·       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and account reconciliations.
·       Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and credit card reconciliations.
·       Assist clients with payroll processing and related payroll compliance.
·       Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
·       Prepare and file sales tax, property tax, and other compliance-related reports as needed.
·       Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
·       Identify accounting issues and work with managers to develop practical solutions.
·       Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting systems and automation tools.
·       Support audit and tax engagements by preparing schedules and responding to information requests.
·       Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely, high-quality service.
Qualifications


·       BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
·       2–5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, outsourced accounting, or a related field.
·       Experience with QuickBooks Online or other cloud-based accounting software preferred.
·       Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
·       Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
·       Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
·       Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple client engagements, and meet deadlines.
·       Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
·       Experience with payroll processing and expense management systems is a plus.
·       CPA license or progress toward obtaining a CPA is a plus.
·      Japanese language skills are required.
