Accounting Ops Coordinator- Construction

What You'll Do

Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance

Analyze project data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Assist with project reporting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews

Track project schedules, milestones, productivity metrics, and key performance indicators

Review project costs and investigate variances from budgets and forecasts

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and project tracking tools

Partner with project managers and operations leaders to support successful project execution

Spend time in the field learning operational processes and gaining firsthand project experience

Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely project information


What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to learn new systems, software, and technologies quickly

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Willingness to spend time in operational and field environments

Preferred Qualifications

Internship, co-op, or professional experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, engineering, logistics, or project-based environments

Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, project controls, or cost tracking

Experience using ERP systems, project management software, or reporting tools

Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams
