About The Company:Our client is a growing organization with multiple operating entities seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and support continued business growth. This role offers a blend of hands-on accounting responsibilities and team leadership.
Job Description:The Accounting Manager will oversee the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and accounting operations across multiple entities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accounting operations across multiple business entities.
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and prepaid schedules.
- Support consolidated financial reporting and intercompany accounting activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Assist with external audits and preparation of audit support schedules.
- Partner with operations, finance, and leadership teams on accounting initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Consolidation and international accounting experience highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Hands-on leadership role with direct impact on accounting operations.
