The Accounting Manager, General Ledger will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations across both consolidated and non-consolidated entities.This role will also oversee and approve key financial calculations, including intercompany agreements, royalties, bonuses, and commissions, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish performance goals, set priorities, and assign responsibilities for the General Ledger teamConduct performance evaluations, administer compensation adjustments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountabilityReview journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completenessOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple entitiesSupervise the preparation of financial statements and management reportsReview account reconciliations and validate the accuracy of balancesInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerPerform and lead P&L variance analysis, providing insights to leadershipEnsure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Evaluate new accounting guidance and support implementationAssist in maintaining and documenting accounting policies and proceduresSupport and monitor financial internal controlsReview intercompany transactions and ensure proper eliminationCoordinate with Finance, Legal, and Tax teams to maintain updated intercompany agreementsReview and approve intercompany, royalty, bonus, and commission calculationsReview debt compliance schedules for accuracy and adherence to loan agreementsOversee revenue allocations for bundled performance obligations in accordance with ASC 606Lead efforts to improve close processes, schedules, and systemsEnsure timely and accurate reportingSupport year-end audit activities and provide ad hoc financial analysis as neededQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in public and/or corporate accounting; multi-national experience preferredAt least 2 years of management experienceMust have strong Excel background Pivot-VLOOKUPStrong knowledge of GAAP (government accounting experience is a plus)Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insightsExperience with multi-entity and multi-currency accounting environmentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organizationHands-on leadership style with a proven ability to build, develop, and manage high-performing teamsStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentThe company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchFlexible spending accountsShort- and long-term disability insuranceLife and AD&D insurancePaid time off, holidays, and parental leaveEmployee assistance programAdditional voluntary benefits (pet insurance, identity protection, home/auto discounts, and more)#J-18808-Ljbffr
