Accounting Manager

As Accounting Manager, you'll lead the General Ledger function, oversee financial reporting, mentor a high-performing accounting team, and partner closely with executive leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement. This role offers a clear opportunity to influence operations, develop staff, and grow within the organization.Location & ScheduleRichardson, TX | OnsiteCompensation & Schedule$115,000-$125,000 annuallyFull-time, Direct HireMonday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PMResponsibilitiesLead the General Ledger team and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activitiesEnsure accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, consolidations, and multicurrency accountingManage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual audit activitiesReview financial statements, balance sheets, P&L reporting, and executive reporting packagesOversee tax support, sales tax filings, and internal control complianceSupervise Accounts Payable and customer billing functions to ensure accuracy and timelinessIdentify process improvements that increase efficiency and strengthen accounting controlsCoach, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culturePartner with executive leadership to communicate financial information and support business decisionsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA, Master's in Accounting, or CPA preferred8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 4 years of leadership experienceExperience leading General Ledger operations, financial close, and financial reportingExperience with consolidations and multicurrency accountingStrong Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferredExperience supporting external audits and maintaining strong internal controlsPreferred SkillsExceptional communication skills with the confidence and emotional intelligence to work effectively with executives and cross-functional leadersExperience working in a privately held organization is highly preferredDemonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and build high-performing accounting teamsStrong analytical, organizational, and process improvement skillsAbility to provide constructive feedback while fostering positive working relationshipsBenefits15 vacation days, 5 sick days, and 2 personal days annually (prorated upon hire and available immediately)401(k) with 3% company match after 30 daysCigna PPO and High Deductible Health Plan options$1,500 annual HSA employer contribution for employees enrolled in the High Deductible Health PlanPerformance-based bonuses and merit increasesStrong work-life balance with occasional extended hours during month-end and year-end close#J-18808-Ljbffr
