We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where new ideas are encouraged and collaboration is a must. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional who is looking for a challenging, rewarding and impactful role.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Coordinating and directing the financial planning, budgeting, procurement and investment activities of all or part of an organization.
  • Leading and coordinating activities of personnel responsible for formulation, monitoring and presentation of budgets for controlling funds to implement program objectives.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining financial controls and guidelines.
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial data and recommending changes to improve systems and financial performance.
  • Collaborating with external auditors, conducting internal audits, and coordinating audit processes.
  • Managing and mentoring junior staff members, ensuring their growth and development within the team.
  • Consulting with the executive team on strategic planning and business growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Accounting Manager position will have the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
  • Proficiency in making Journal Entries and managing financial records.
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • High proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to non-financial colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, with a commitment to uphold the company's accounting standards and confidentiality requirements.
