You’ll maintain relationships with restaurateurs and chefs and your team of accountants primarily via email and zoom. You’ll assist accountants in developing a strong understanding of accounting and the process in which Prix Fixe gets the work done.
The Accounting Manager/ Pod Lead is a multifaceted position. In a typical week, theAccounting Manager/ Pod Lead will spend roughly 50% of their time completing accounting tasks, 40% of their time in meetings and training with the accountant team and 10% of their time communicating with clients.
Responsible for maintaining accounting standard operating procedure (SOP) and management of their team of bookkeepers & accountants. This person is responsible for training and feedback of staff as well as periodic review of direct reports with the Director of Accounting. They are responsible for ensuring efficiency within the team. Additionally, they are responsible for creating and managing company culture by setting up routine video calls, team building exercises and other forms of communication.
