    About the Role

    We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, reporting to the Controller. This role manages a small team of direct reports and is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely financial operations across billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.

    The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, a hands-on leadership style, and the organizational discipline to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee accounting operations including billing, AR, AP, general ledger, and financial reporting
    • Manage accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
    • Prepare and analyze balance sheets, P&L statements, and other financial reports
    • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
    • Oversee accounts receivable collections and ensure timely vendor payment to optimize cash flow
    • Calculate and file sales tax returns and other tax filings for U.S. and international entities
    • Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and M&A purchase asset reporting
    • Serve as the primary liaison for external audits and ensure SOX compliance
    • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
    • Manage accounting platforms including NetSuite, D365, Avalara, Ramp, Versapay, and QuickBooks
    • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate accounting team members; assist with budgeting and forecasting
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
    • 7+ years of accounting experience with in-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
    • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills
    • Experience managing accounting software platforms; NetSuite and/or D365 experience a plus
    • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Private Equity background is a plus
