This position will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the medical margin accounting function and driving continuous improvement in the close process. This position will work closely and collaboratively with various departments across the company to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Duties/Responsibilities:

    Manage the medical margin financial close and drive the timely and accurate reporting of revenue and medical expensesManage the day-to-day activities of the medical margin accounting function, including reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsManage and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, support, and coachingFoster a culture of collaboration and high performance

    Evaluate current accounting processes and develop and implement new processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the medical margin accounting function

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferredMinimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including time in a leadership roleHealthcare experience required, value-based care experience preferredCPA designation strongly preferredExperience with Oracle NetSuite a plus
