    Overview A dynamic and rapidly growing entertainment company is searching for a Accounting Manager who will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations and continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong accounting professional with a foundation in public accounting and experience within entertainment or media environments.This role sits at the intersection of technical accounting and day-to-day operations, offering exposure to production, talent-related accounting, and corporate finance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.Key Responsibilities Own key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reportingPrepare and review general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAPManage accruals, prepaids, and revenue recognition across multiple projects/entitiesSupport preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packagesLeverage public accounting foundation to support audits and technical accounting researchAssist with external audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely and accurate deliverablesEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiencySupport FP&A and leadership with ad hoc analysis and special projectsCollaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and production teamsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5-7+ years of experience, ideally starting in public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred)Experience in entertainment, media, production, or talent-related accounting strongly preferredStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reportingExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
