Accounting Manager

Our SaaS client , in partnership with Conexus Recruiting, seeks a talented Accounting Manager to join their Corporate Finance and Accounting Team.Job DetailsTitle: Accounting ManagerLocation: near Santa MonicaType: Full-time, direct hireWork Schedule: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)Compensation: $130,000 - $145,000/year + equity, plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and unlimited PTORole OverviewSeeking a professional with experience in corporate accounting, who is eager to work at a rapidly growing company with substantial recurring revenue, venture capital backing, and opportunities for advancement. This role offers high visibility to executive leadership.ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end closes of the General Ledger.Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.Manage a team of accounting professionals.Lead the Accounts Payable department.Maintain KPIs to enhance financial reporting processes.Generate financial statements for upper management with the Controller's assistance.Lead finance transformation initiatives across divisions.Conduct ASC 606 technical accounting research.Support external audits and improve internal controls.Manage tax audits and compliance with state and international regulations.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience.At least 2 years in supervisory roles.Experience with public accounting and CPA or CPA tracking.Background in Tech/SaaS/High Growth environments.PreferredExperience at a Big 4 firm.Knowledge of ASC 606 Revenue Recognition.SkillsTechnicalProficiency in NetSuite.InterpersonalSelf-starter with initiative and responsibility.Strong analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.ApplicationSend your resume to mark.w@conexusrecruiting.com .
