As an Accounting Manager, you’ll lead a high-impact team responsible for billing, accounts payable, and financial oversight that keeps our business running efficiently and compliantly.

What You’ll Do
Lead Financial Operations
Oversee daily financial activities across Billing/Invoicing and Accounts Payable
Manage and develop a team of AP clerks, AR clerks, material clerks, and cash application specialists
Ensure timely approvals of invoices, purchase orders, and financial transactions
Drive Accuracy & Reporting
Support month-end close activities (accruals, inventory adjustments, production entries, royalty payments, etc.)
Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts with supporting documentation
Analyze financial data using tools such as Excel, Hyperion, and Essbase
Ensure Compliance & Controls
Maintain strong internal controls, including SOX compliance and AMAT accounting policies
Partner with internal and external auditors and support audit requests
Oversee lease schedules and ensure compliance with financial standards
Own Key Financial Processes
Billing: Approve AR batches, coordinate with sales, manage haul payment approvals
Accounts Payable: Review invoice batches, POs, PCard activity, and weekly check runs
Prepare local tax filings (occupational, net profit, property tax, etc.)
Develop & Lead Your Team
Coach and mentor team members to grow their technical and leadership capabilities
Drive performance through clear expectations, feedback, and accountability
Delegate effectively to ensure efficient workflows and execution
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
3+ years of people leadership experience
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience with financial systems and reporting tools (Excel required; Hyperion/Viewpoint preferred)
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Bonus Points For:
