Experience: DirectorSalary: $100,000 - $175,000 per yearJob DetailsWe are currently seeking a dynamic, detail‑oriented, and experienced Permanent Controller to join our highly respected Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, internal control policies, and procedures, as well as risk management. The Permanent Controller will play a pivotal role in driving our company's financial performance and strategic business planning. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.Research technical accounting issues for compliance.Support month-end and year-end close process.Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Additional controller duties as necessary.QualificationsProven working experience as a Financial controller with a minimum of 5+ years in a relevant role.Bachelors Degree preferred.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.Experience with creating financial statements.Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.Must have experience with month-end close.Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Proven ability to manage a team.A bit about usFast growing renewables company.Why join us?Fantastic Health InsuranceLife insurance and disability benefits401(k) matchCompetitive salary#J-18808-Ljbffr
