Description

Senior Accounting ManagerOur well-established, creative, friendly client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month‑end close, financial reporting, and compliance with GAAP. Key duties include supervising accounting staff, analyzing financial data, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate, timely financial statements. This is a hybrid role in the Factoria office Tuesday through Thursday.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and verify accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.Accounting Operations: Manage daily functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll.Month‑End Close: Lead the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls and coordinate external review.Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and efficiency.Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor organizational spending, assist with budget preparation, and identify financial risks.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred7+ years of experience with prior supervisory experienceStrong GAAP knowledge, full‑cycle accounting, and job‑costing experienceAdvanced Excel and experience with Epicor or similar software is preferredProven leadership, people, management, accounting, and communication skillsSalary range of $100 to 125k plus benefits; in office Tuesday through Thursday#J-18808-Ljbffr
