We offer a broad range of finance, technology, and risk/compliance services to support clients from startup to IPO readiness.We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing Financial Operations practice.As an Accounting Manager Consultant at Bridgepoint, you will be a valuable part of our client delivery team.If you have a passion for helping growing companies achieve success, are looking for an opportunity to work with a fast paced, growing company, and like to be able to make an impact – this could be the role for you!What You'll DoBuild and maintain relationships with Current and prospective clientsInteract with BPC members in Financial Operations and other practice areas of the firm to coordinate excellent deliveryAssist with reconciliations, month end reporting, preparing clients for audit, cleaning up their books, and assisting their department with integration of merger and acquisition dataInteract directly with the client contact (CFO, Controller) and their staffProvide project status updates, feedback, and thoughtful insights into client challenges for your delivery managerEmbrace flexibility and take on tasks and assignments that may be out of your comfort zoneSkills You'll NeedRequired:5-8 years of hands-on full-cycle accounting experienceB.A. or B.S. required, Accounting or Finance degrees are a plusStrong desire for consulting-style work and delivering excellent customer serviceIndustry experience in start-ups, technology, software, oilfield services, insurance and Big Four/public accounting is highly preferredExperience with monthly close procedures, monthly and quarterly financial reportingRecent hands-on experience with routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash managementHands-on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains or Intacct), along with moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft Suite, especially ExcelAbility to adapt to various client environments, and communicate effectively at all levels within the organizationDemonstration of a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, experience researching technical GAAP issuesPast experience working in small to mid-sized company environment with the ability to multi-task and wear several hatsPreferred:CPA and/or MBA preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
