We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager to join our rapidly growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to make a significant impact on our organization's financial operations. The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including managing a team of accountants, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP.
2. Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
3. Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported and deadlines are met.
5. Coordinate with external auditors, providing all necessary information for the annual audit.
6. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
7. Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements.
8. Work closely with the finance team to develop and implement budgeting and forecasting models.
9. Continually assess and improve accounting processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting management role.
3. Proven experience with Work-In-Progress (WIP) accounting is required.
4. Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
5. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
8. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
11. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
