Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Internal Controls Manager to support a high-impact finance function within a global automotive organization. This role will oversee inventory accounting, internal controls, and financial reporting, while leading a small team and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Location: Paris, ON Canada
• Schedule: 4 days onsite / 1 day remote
• Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay Rate: $44.32/hour with benefits

Responsibilities

• Supervise finance team members, including Cost Analysts and a Parts Pricing Analyst
• Oversee inventory accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Manage dealer programs, including parts returns, reporting metrics, and communications
• Review and approve debit/credit memos, intercompany billings, and journal entries
• Coordinate and support internal audits, controls testing, and compliance activities
• Lead monthly inventory reporting, review, and submission
• Serve as business owner for parts systems and approve system updates
• Maintain and update operational documentation and internal procedures
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial compliance standards
• Partner with cross-functional teams across finance, operations, and supply chain

Required / Preferred Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, corporate finance, or internal controls
• Experience supervising or leading a team
• Strong background in:
  • Inventory accounting
  • Internal controls and audit support
  • Accounts payable / financial operations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred:

• Experience in inventory, parts, or supply chain environments
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems
• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
