Job Description

Title: Accounting Clerk

Compensation: $17.00-$20.00/hr.

Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt

Type: 3 months; Temp to hire

Reports to: CFO

 

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team! This is a temporary position, with the potential for permanent employment based upon performance and business needs. The Accounting Clerk will assist our finance department with various clerical and financial tasks.

Job Duties:

  • Reconcile credit/debit card transactions, bank statements, and general ledger accounts.
  • Create and maintain financial reports.
  • Process payments.
  • Performs general administrative tasks for the finance and billing departments.
  • Assist with financial audits.
  • Performs other assignments as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. An associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
