We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Recovery 1, a Waste Connections company, in Tacoma, WA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accurate financial records.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (In Office)

Pay Range: $27–$30 per hour

Key Responsibilities


+ Perform month-end close procedures

+ Post payments, maintain customer accounts, and process adjustments in the ERP system

+ Manage daily cash applications and cash management tasks

+ Maintain accurate accounts receivable aging

+ Process customer refunds

+ Manage pricing updates and contract rate maintenance

+ Generate daily reports, monthly invoices, and mid-month statements

+ Respond to customer inquiries related to accounts receivable promptly and professionally

+ Process and review customer credit applications

+ Maintain organized and accurate AR documentation and filing systems

+ Support additional tasks as needed by the Corporate Accounts Receivable team


Qualifications & Experience


+ 2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience preferred

+ Experience with A/R and general ledger integrated systems is a plus

+ Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Strong organizational and time management abilities

+ Self-motivated with a close attention to detail

+ Customer service experience is highly valued
