If yes, we believe you would be an outstanding fit on our wealth management team.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual in their accounting career who is eager to grow within a dynamic, client focused organization.Primary ResponsibilitiesRecord and reconcile daily financial transactions for a multitude of different businesses, ensuring records are accurate, organized, and up to date.Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basisPrepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month‑end close procedures, including journal entries for payroll, depreciation, and interest.Generate routine financial reports and summaries for internal and external reviewMaintain organized and confidential financial files and documentationSupport clients with financial, software, and payroll questionsMonthly filing of sales tax returnsAnnual preparation of Forms 1099Required Qualifications1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experienceAble to work independently on project type assignmentsKnowledge of QuickBooks required, including QuickBooks onlineStrong MS Office skillsSuperior analytical and problem resolution skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skillsWillingness to work until work is done, which may require extended hours to meet team needsBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredExcellent oral and written skillsStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environmentYou understand the need to provide a world‑class customer experienceYou value the collaboration of insightful, experienced colleagues to deliver our servicesYou demonstrate a strong affinity in financial services, exceptional communication, organization, and prioritization skillsPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerWhy Cerity PartnersOur people drive our success by working together to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
