This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled bookkeeper or accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with multiple clients, and takes pride in delivering accurate financial reporting with exceptional customer service.As an Accounting Associate II, you\'ll serve as the accounting lead for your assigned clients, managing their financial operations while partnering with both clients and internal teams to deliver outstanding results.What You\'ll Do Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of clientsPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements and key performance indicators (KPIs)Process Accounts Payable, credit card reconciliations, sales tax, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliationsPerform account audits and ensure financial accuracyMaintain fixed assets, prepaid schedules, balance sheet reconciliations, and 1099 complianceCreate custom financial reports and dashboards for clientsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningTroubleshoot accounting issues while providing exceptional client supportDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiencyMentor and train fellow accounting team membersCollaborate with Accounting Managers on projects and departmental initiativesWhat We're Looking For Highly organized and detail-orientedComfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneouslyA proactive problem solver with strong analytical skillsAn excellent communicator who enjoys working directly with clientsPassionate about delivering exceptional customer serviceA collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring othersCommitted to continuous improvement and professional growthQualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent5+ years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experienceStrong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and federal and state accounting requirementsExperience working within ERP systems and maintaining strong internal controlsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsPreferredBachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldWhy Join FLORES?
