    A Day in the Life as an Accounting Associate

    As an Accounting Associate, you'll take navigate a variety of duties within the accounting team, assisting both accounts payable and billing functions. Your main focuses will be processing incoming invoices, expense reports, and drop shipments. Responsibilities include:
    • Processing invoices using AP automation and ERP software
    • Reconciling employee credit cards and expense reports
    • Processing drop shipment invoices from vendors and outgoing invoices to customers
    • Managing the general accounting emails and working with the team to resolve customer and vendor invoice issues
    • Assisting with vendor reconciliation an other month-end close processes
    • Providing back-up support for Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
    • Ensuring compliance with GAAP, company policies, and SOX requirements, including supporting internal controls, testing, and documentation
    What You Need
    • Associate's degree in Accounting
    • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
    • Solid understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and SEC regulations
    • Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and terminology
    • Accurate and efficient with data entry and basic math calculations
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and customer service skills
    • Detail oriented with strong time management, accuracy, and organizational skills
