Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:
Process high-volume accounts payable including invoice review, coding, and vendor payments
Support accounts receivable functions including invoicing, cash applications, and tracking outstanding balances
Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
Respond to vendor and internal inquiries related to AP/AR activity
Provide general support to the Accounting Manager, including ad hoc reporting and month-end close assistance
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Prior experience working in a nonprofit organization strongly preferred
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online or Enterprise)
Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Excel and general accounting systems

Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
