The Accounting Assistant is essential in supporting the day-to-day accuracy of our financial operations while partnering with multiple departments to ensure exceptional service delivery.
The Accounting Assistant supports our Accounting Department by handling clerical and financial tasks that keep operations flowing efficiently. From auditing invoices to preparing financial reports and managing uploads across systems, this role is perfect for someone with a strong eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive mindset.
Prepare and manage general correspondence for the Accounting Department.
Audit accounts payable entries and review invoices daily.
Collaborate with Vendor Management and Community Managers to resolve discrepancies.
Email and upload monthly financial reports to HOA Boards and internal systems (eBridge, HOA sites, etc.).
Maintain documentation for homeowner accounts and ensure timely updates.
Post miscellaneous homeowner charges (e.g., water, streetlight) and manage ACH setups.
Manage daily check runs, assist with ACH reviews, and upload invoices and reports.
Process and organize financial records across multiple platforms (CINC, eBridge, CRM, Kayak).
Assist in preparing monthly and year-end financial reports.
Provide research support on invoice and payment-related inquiries.
Uphold internal checks and balances according to company procedures.
Associate degree or equivalent; or 1+ year of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
Strong typing skills and proficiency with bookkeeping software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks with a sense of urgency.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Minimal safety hazards; standard office environment.
