Position Overview
Seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant with experience in SAP/ERP systems, bookkeeping, and exposure to banking, treasury, tax, and sales/customer accounting functions. This role supports the accounting department with daily financial tasks and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations and financial recordkeeping
- Perform bookkeeping tasks including AP/AR, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Work within SAP or other ERP systems for data entry and reporting
- Support banking and treasury activities, including transaction tracking
- Assist with tax‑related documentation and compliance tasks
- Provide support to sales and customer accounting functions
- Prepare reports, maintain files, and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Collaborate with supervisors and cross‑functional teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems
- Strong bookkeeping background
- Exposure to banking, treasury, tax, and sales/customer accounting
- Prior supervisor support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Excel and general office software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
