Accounting & Administrative Manager

Our client, a well-established private business, is seeking an experienced Accounting & Administrative Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and wants to play an important role in the ongoing success of a successful organization. The company is open to either a full-time or part-time arrangement for the right candidate and values experience, professionalism, dependability, and initiative.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee the company's accounting and financial recordkeeping functions
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and financial planning activities
  • Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals
  • Serve as the primary contact for our outsourced payroll provider, ensuring payroll information is accurate and submitted timely
  • Maintain payroll and employee records
  • Assist with employee onboarding, benefits administration, and other human resources activities as needed
  • Support general office administration and business operations
Qualifications
  • Accounting experience is required
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting practices, and financial reporting
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with benefits administration or human resources is a plus
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed
