Senior Accountant

Location: Austin, TX
Start Date: ASAP – urgent
Pay Rate: $51/hour

Engagement Overview

Seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to step in immediately and support a critical transition period. This individual will quickly integrate into existing accounting processes, assist with knowledge transfer, and perform senior-level accounting responsibilities with minimal oversight.

This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong technical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to execute efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly integrate into and support existing accounting processes

• Facilitate knowledge transfer during the transition period

• Perform senior-level accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders while adhering to established controls and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of senior-level accounting experience

• Strong SAP experience (required) – S/4HANA preferred

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP

• Ability to take direction and execute with urgency in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Background

• Experience in large, complex organizations (technology or manufacturing preferred)

• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or similar)

• CPA (active) preferred

• Background as Senior Financial Analyst or Senior Accountant
