We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a entry level professional to grow their skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial operations, contributing to our overall financial strategy and helping to drive the success of our business.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Processing all Accounts Payable including approval, entry and posting. Completing all related reporting.
  • Processing all Accounts Receivable including check deposit, billing, and journal entries.
  • Performing account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of all financial data.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other members of the finance team to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial systems and processes.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in accounting/ finance.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
