Job Details

We are currently seeking a Permanent Accountant to join our Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is looking to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's tax obligations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on tax management.

Responsibilities:
As an Accountant within our team, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the financial well-being of our company. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Preparing and submitting accurate tax returns for the company, ensuring all data is correct and up-to-date.
2. Conducting regular tax audits and creating reports on the company's financial status.
3. Researching and understanding the latest tax laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to our company's financial practices.
4. Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimize our tax liability and maximize profits.
5. Collaborating with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide expert advice on tax-related matters.
6. Resolving any tax-related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
7. Maintaining accurate and organized financial records, and ensuring all tax documentation is compliant with laws and regulations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Accountant position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting role with a focus on tax management.
3. Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
4. Proficiency in tax software and other accounting tools.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify discrepancies in financial data.
6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
8. A high level of integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially and ethically.
