Accountant

A renowned CPA firm is seeking a motivated Accountant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both accounting work and client interaction, with an interest in assisting with marketing and business development activities.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day accounting operations
• Support financial management for business clients
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, and meetings
• Assist with client outreach, relationship management, and marketing initiatives
• Coordinate with the NJ‑based CPA team on client deliverables

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

• Bookkeeping experience
• Tax return preparation experience (individual or business)
• Payroll processing experience
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Pro Series or similar)
