Bishop & Company is seeking an
Accountant for an association management company in Honolulu.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial statements for multiple clients in a timely manner.
- Process, review, and audit daily accounting transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain organized and complete accounting records in support of financial activities.
- Apply auditors’ instructions and management’s policies to financial processes and reporting.
- Provide responsive, professional support to clients, property managers, and vendors while addressing unique business needs.
- Conduct research, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues promptly.
- Manage and prioritize multiple client accounts while meeting strict deadlines.
- Assist with and complete complex special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field or at least two years of equivalent accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to multitask, adapt, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
Additional Information:- Job Type: Temporary-to-hire opportunity
- Pay: $23-28/hr DOE
- Location: Honolulu, 96813
- Parking: No parking available, but we provide up to $70 toward a monthly bus pass.
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
