That's why we bring our deep expertise, insightful offerings, and extra mile service to work every day to help lenders put more people in homes and keep them there.We're looking for an Accountant in Raleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while utilizing our values of excellence, improvement, and connection.LOCATIONEnact Headquarters, Raleigh, NC Hybrid ScheduleYour Responsibilities Assist in preparing quarterly and annual regulatory and statutory filings, including all financial statements, schedules and footnotes/disclosure schedules to the financial statementsSupport premium tax filings in all states and municipalities, to include creating ACH requestsComplete monthly accounting close related activities, including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations for premiums, losses, reinsurance and statutory adjustmentsCreate and maintain documentation for key departmental processesAssist in preparation and filing of supplemental schedules and state and regulatory reporting formsCompile financial data from tax and investment teams to include in regulatory and statutory filingsSupport external auditor activities relating to statutory audits, including providing certain schedules and variance explanations and audited financial statements and related footnote disclosures theretoWork with IT and other departments cross-functionally to continually improve processesAssist with all regulatory-related audits and reviewsYour Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting0 - 5 years of general accounting experienceStrong experience with Excel and other accounting related tools; Oracle experience a plusStrong attention to detailSuperior organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple prioritiesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a team as well as with individuals in other departments and at other levels within the organizationExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesPreferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidateCOMPANYEnact Holdings, Inc.
