Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a knack for financial reporting, credit card reconciliations, trust reconciliations, and CAS? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting and Finance team as a Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment while contributing to our company's financial success. You will be a part of a collaborative team that values your insights and encourages your professional growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are crucial to our company's financial health. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing accurate and timely financial reports to present to management.
2. Conducting credit card reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and properly recorded.
3. Performing trust reconciliations to verify the company's records are in line with trust statements.
4. Utilizing your expertise in CAS to enhance the accounting processes and procedures.
5. Assisting in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
6. Collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
7. Identifying and suggesting potential improvements to the company's accounting systems and controls.
8. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry.
3. Proficiency in financial reporting, credit card reconciliations, trust reconciliations, and CAS.
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial colleagues.
7. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
8. A strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
