AccountantAccountant Required Education: Bachelor's degree Required Qualifications: 2-5 years of U.S. GAAP and/or U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting experience Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups and communicate complex information clearly Ability to balance multiple projects at once and prioritize appropriately Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities Responsibilities: Support accurate U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting for the organization's Alternative Assets investment portfolio, supporting large scale projects, developing and maintaining robust internal controls framework Evaluate system outputs to ensure appropriate accounting treatment for our alternative assets portfolio Research and review of accounting guidance to assess existing processes – identifying potential efficiencies and/or gaps in current business processes Perform assigned accounting responsibilities, including account reconciliations, transaction reviews, loan pricing analysis, real estate owned accounting, and journal entry and financial reporting preparation. Partner with the Finance Teams across all product lines and assist in the development and execution of Investment strategies Collaborate cross-functionally to create efficiencies and deliver superior business results Support accounting policy implementation and strategic business process redesign efforts Help maintain SOX controls documentation and evaluate deficiency risks through on-going review and validation of key operational processes Perform other duties as assigned**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.****Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client's business needs and requirements.**
