Compensation: Up to $90k DOE
We are partnering with a well-established organization to identify an Accountant to join its growing corporate accounting team. This opportunity offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to accelerate their career while working alongside an experienced leadership team.
This role provides broad exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, process improvement initiatives, and month-end close. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys hands-on accounting work, and is looking for a company that invests in employee growth and development.
Prepare journal entries across various general ledger accounts, including cash, accruals, intercompany transactions, financing activities, taxes, and interest expense
Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting schedules
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Support treasury and cash management functions
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Assist with audits, special projects, and ad hoc financial reporting
Partner with accounting leadership on ongoing departmental initiatives
Strong accounting fundamentals
Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
Positive attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of progressive accounting experience
Public accounting (Audit or Assurance) experience is welcomed but not required
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas
Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
CPA or active pursuit of CPA preferred but not required
Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate work
Team-first mentality with a collaborative approach
Comfortable taking on foundational accounting responsibilities while continuing to learn
Strong communication and organizational skills
Desire to continuously improve processes and expand technical knowledge
