Sabio Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant on behalf of our client, a reputable construction company. In this role, you will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate job costing, and maintain tight control over accounts payable and receivables.

Job Responsibilities for the Accountant:

Manage day-to-day financial operations and transactions.
Ensure accurate job costing and project financial tracking.
Maintain tight control over Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Process and manage employee payroll.
Support month-end closing processes and prepare adjusting journal entries.
Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements.

Qualifications for the Accountant:

Strong understanding of construction accounting practices and theories.
Proficiency with standard accounting software platforms.
High attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
Ability to work reliably in an in-person office environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting preferred.

Compensation for the Accountant:

$60,000.00 - $65,000.00
