Full time
At our agency, we invest in the success and long-term growth of every team member. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a career in sales, develop professionally, and be part of a team that is actively growing.
As an Account Representative with Chris Obear State Farm, you will play a key role in helping grow the agency through new business development, meaningful customer conversations, and relationship-based sales.
This is a sales-focused position, not a blended service role. You will work with prospects and customers to understand their needs, recommend appropriate insurance products, and help them protect what matters most. Our service team supports current customer needs, allowing this role to stay focused on building relationships, creating opportunities, and closing business.
We are looking for someone who brings strong energy, a positive attitude, and the desire to improve every month. You do not need previous insurance experience to be successful here, but you do need to be coachable, motivated, dependable, and willing to put in the work to grow.
New team members receive structured onboarding, daily sales coaching, script practice, and support as they learn the sales process. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants stability, strong earning potential, and a long-term career path in the insurance industry.
This position offers a base salary plus commission, with total compensation potential typically ranging from $62,000 to $90,000 depending on performance. Commission opportunities include tiered sales commission and additional earning potential for life and health production.
We do not expect you to know everything on day one. New team members go through a structured onboarding process and receive hands-on sales coaching, daily team meetings, script practice, and support while learning the agency’s sales process.
The first several months include a ramp-up period designed to help you build confidence, develop your pipeline, and grow into full production expectations.
As the agency grows, there will be opportunities for team members to take on additional responsibility, develop advanced sales skills, pursue additional licenses, and grow into future leadership opportunities. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job — we want someone who wants to build a career.
