Description

 We are looking for a positive and energetic Account Manager with a dedicated sense of responsibility to join the EmployerCARE team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that clients’ needs are understood and satisfied. Ideal candidates will have the ability to build and manage client relationships, lead multi-year strategic planning, and maintain a proactive approach with managing the day-to-day compliance and workflow of the client business. To be successful in this role, candidates must be committed to ensuring that company offerings meet the individual needs of the client as well as using excellent verbal and written communication skills to understand client needs and explain value.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business, goals, and employee benefit needs
  • Lead ongoing client meetings, check-ins, and strategic planning discussions to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Coordinate with internal teams (benefits, HR, payroll, compliance, risk, etc.) to deliver seamless client solutions
  • Oversee day-to-day client workflows, including compliance, renewals, plan changes, and service requests
  • Analyze client data and trends to proactively identify improvement opportunities and upsell additional services
  • Clearly explain products, services, and value propositions to clients using strong verbal and written communication
  • Resolve client issues and concerns efficiently while improving processes to prevent future challenges
  • Maintain accurate account documentation, notes, and records within internal systems
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and OPOC offerings to act as a trusted advisor and client advocate

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in account management, business development, relationship management, or customer success role
  • Ability to build relationships with clients
  • Attention to detail and skilled at keeping accurate records and account notes.
