Account Manager / Sales Operations Leader

Salary $125,000 – $160,000 + Bonus + Benefits in the Upper Midwest

Our client is seeking an Account Manager / Sales Operations Leader to serve as the primary liaison for key customer accounts while ensuring seamless coordination across plant operations. This highly visible, on-site position is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer partnerships, leading teams, and driving operational excellence. While the National Sales team focuses on strategic account growth, you will own the day-to-day management and execution of site-specific business.

Your key responsibilities as the Account Manager / Sales Operations Leader:

·Serve as the primary point of contact for established customers, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional service

·Oversee sales operations activities including forecasting, production coordination, shipping, and invoicing for plant-specific product lines

·Lead, mentor, and develop a team consisting of an Analyst and a Senior Sales Support Specialist

·Partner closely with production, logistics, and customer teams to align customer requirements with plant capabilities and schedules

·Ensure smooth execution of customer commitments while identifying opportunities to improve processes and service levels.

Minimum qualifications for this Account Manager / Sales Operations Leader:

·Bachelor’s degree required

·Proven experience within contract manufacturing and private label environments

·Demonstrated success leading and developing direct reports

·Strong background in customer relationship management, forecasting, logistics coordination, and account administration

·Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
