Account Manager – Test, Measurement & Automation Solutions
Location: North America (Travel Required)

About the Role
A world-leading supplier of test, measurement, inspection, and automation manufacturing solutions is expanding its North American presence and is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive strategic growth.


This role is ideal for someone with strong business acumen, experience working with global supply chain stakeholders, and exposure to electronic manufacturing programs. You’ll play a critical role in bringing next-generation optical technologies to market while partnering with some of the most influential companies across industries such as mobile device sensing, optical communications for AI, and autonomous vehicles.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide development activities to secure new program wins
  • Drive account penetration across key decision-makers for new opportunities
  • Conduct regular outside sales calls to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet overall program objectives
  • Lead and facilitate engineering-level discussions with clients
  • Organize meetings, track action items, and report on progress and challenges
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage project tasks and risks
  • Partner with Product Specialists to deliver tailored customer solutions (including occasional evening meetings)
  • Review Statements of Work (SOW) with internal teams and negotiate terms with client procurement
  • Align internal teams and customers from initial order through Site Acceptance Testing
  • Represent the company at trade shows and technical events
 
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in capital equipment or related industries
