This role centers on fostering growth with OEMs, panel builders, and distribution partners, aligning closely with our regional sales and marketing framework. You will collaborate with inside sales, product management, and senior sales leadership to drive profit growth and pinpoint new avenues for automation solutions.
**Responsibilities**
- Cultivate new business avenues with OEM clients in the designated territory.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with existing significant accounts.
- Coordinate with Inside Sales Managers for seamless account progression.
- Surpass territory sales and revenue objectives.
- Assess client needs and deliver tailored technical and commercial solutions.
- Act as a company ambassador at industry gatherings, exhibitions, and technical events.
- Maintain precise sales activity documentation and forecasts.
- Collaborate with product management and sales leadership to underpin product positioning and market penetration.
- Secure and finalize new opportunities with pivotal accounts.
**Ideal Candidate Profile**
- Established experience in B2B sales within the industrial automation or electronic components sectors.
- Proficiency in dealing with OEMs, panel builders, or industrial distributors.
- In-depth knowledge of automation components like sensors, switching devices, and relays.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- At ease in a technical sales setting.
**Qualifications**
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Automation Engineering is preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Solid grasp of the industrial automation marketplace and customer expectations.
- Skilled at managing multiple sales opportunities and cycles.
