Position Overview

Yokogawa is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in building strong client relationships while supporting sales growth in the industrial automation and technology sector.

The Entry-Level Account Manager will work closely with senior account managers and cross-functional teams to manage customer accounts, identify opportunities, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of existing customer accounts, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Develop a strong understanding of Yokogawas products, services, and industry solutions
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, customer support) to meet client needs
  • Track account performance metrics and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of sales principles or customer relationship management
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Willingness to learn technical concepts related to industrial automation
  • Must reside in Louisiana, preferably near Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles or New Orleans.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or co-op experience in sales, business development, or engineering
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Interest in industrial automation, energy, or technology sectors
