Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Delegation Oversight Manager, the Account Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the performance of delegated entities, including Independent Physician Associations (IPAs) and supplemental benefit vendors. This position acts as the central liaison coordinating delegated oversight, data integration, reporting, and engagement efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and organizational goals. The Account Manager also contributes to shaping and executing strategic initiatives aimed at improving program performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for IPAs and supplemental vendors, facilitating structured communication through meeting coordination, issue tracking, and project follow-up in partnership with internal teams.
- Monitor service-level performance metrics and support data-driven reporting processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Assist in remediation and continuous improvement efforts to address performance gaps and enhance service delivery.
- Support audit readiness and risk mitigation activities by managing relationships, coordinating operations, and leveraging data insights for effective oversight.
- Collaborate across departments to align delegated oversight activities with broader organizational strategies and compliance requirements.
Salary Range: $70,900 - $145,200/annually

We're seeking a talented individual with:
Required:
- A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education experience
- 3 or more years of experience in health plan operations, delegated oversight, performance monitoring, compliance, or related managed care functions
- 2 or more years of experience working with IPAs, vendors, or external partners in a regulated healthcare environment
- Understanding of CMS, DMHC, NCQA, and delegated oversight regulatory frameworks
- Ability to interpret performance metrics, scorecards, and KPI trends
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
- Ability to coordinate across operational, compliance, and data teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and follow-ups
- Ability to coordinate external communications, meetings, and issue tracking with IPAs and vendors in a regulated healthcare environment
Preferred:
- More than one year of experience supporting reporting, performance metrics, dashboards, or operational tracking
- More than one year of experience coordinating cross-functional workflows or supporting audit readiness activities
- Experience supporting multi-stakeholder meetings, action logs, and project coordination tools
- Experience supporting audit readiness or remediation activities
- Familiarity with reporting tools or oversight platforms (e.g. Innovare, dashboards)
- Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
