Skills & Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- 1+ year of experience in commercial lines account management or a similar client-facing insurance role.
- Familiarity with a range of commercial insurance products including general liability, commercial property, workers' compensation, business auto, and umbrella policies.
- Experience working with multiple carriers and an understanding of how to market and place accounts effectively.
- Proficiency with agency management systems; experience with Applied Epic, Hawksoft, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts and competing deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Client-first mindset with a genuine interest in helping business owners protect what they've built.
- Manage and service a book of commercial lines accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for business clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Assess each client's business operations, risk exposures, and coverage needs to develop tailored insurance solutions across a broad range of commercial products.
- Market accounts to carriers, negotiate terms, and present coverage options that align with client goals and budgets.
- Process policy changes, renewals, certificates of insurance, and other account service requests accurately and on time.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, conducting regular check-ins and coverage reviews to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities to round out accounts with additional coverages and introduce clients to relevant products and services.
- Collaborate with producers and internal team members to support new business submissions and ensure smooth account onboarding.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system.
