Position Overview We are seeking a relationship-driven Investment Real Estate Mortgage Loan Originator to originate residential investment property loans and support a high-volume investor referral network.
This is an in-office, production-focused role where you will serve as the primary lending partner to a network of real estate agents and investors. You will guide borrowers through the entire lending lifecycle—from initial consultation to closing—while delivering a high-touch, advisory experience.
Success in this role is driven by relationship development, pipeline management, and consistent loan production within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Mortgage Loan Originator for investors sourced through an established partner channel
  • Build and maintain relationships with 30+ investment-focused real estate agents, investors, and referral partners
  • Act as the dedicated lending partner for assigned offices and investor networks
  • Consult with borrowers to understand project goals, timelines, and financing strategies
  • Structure and present competitive loan solutions for fix-and-flip, BRRRR, and rental property investments
  • Originate and manage loans from initial lead through closing, including application, documentation, and borrower communication
  • Match loan scenarios with appropriate private and hard money capital solutions
  • Partner closely with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and actively manage pipeline performance
  • Attend office meetings, investor events, and networking functions to drive ongoing business development
  • Deliver training and education sessions to partner offices and investor groups
  • Consistently meet or exceed production, conversion, and client satisfaction goals

Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in mortgage lending, private lending, or real estate investment finance
  • Strong understanding of hard money loans and investor-focused lending products
  • Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close deals in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent consultative sales and relationship management skills
  • Experience with CRM systems and loan origination platforms
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in hard money, bridge, wholesale, or correspondent lending
  • Background working with real estate brokerages, wholesalers, or investment-focused firms
  • Ability to review purchase contracts, renovation budgets, and investment returns
  • Existing relationships within local real estate investor communities
  • Experience generating self-sourced business in addition to company-provided leads

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $50,000–$70,000
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Realistic earnings potential of $150,000–$200,000+
