Position Summary:
The Account Executive - PTCB/LPN will be responsible for servicing and maintaining relationships with long-term care facilities and assisted living communities in and around the Mansfield, OH area. Working under the general supervision of the Account Executive Manager, this role ensures that services are delivered in compliance with company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
An ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of long-term care pharmacy operations, provide excellent client support, and build long-lasting relationships with facility staff, while consistently upholding the mission and values of SpecialtyRx.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and perform regular on-site visits to assigned client facilities.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and service requests from facilities.
- Understand and relate to client needs with empathy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to address client facility issues and provide timely solutions.
- Conduct audits of medication and treatment carts to ensure readiness for surveys.
- Review and maintain appropriate par levels for antibiotics, PO/IV medications, and back-up boxes; ensure no expired medications are present.
- Verify emergency boxes are properly sealed and stocked with non-expired medications.
- Foster strong relationships with Administrators and Directors of Nursing at client facilities.
- Manage CUBEX and other Automated Dispensing Systems (ADS), including restocking and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Licensed Practical Nurse preferred.
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician with long-term care experience preferred.
- Must be located in Mansfield, OH.
- CUBEX/ADS experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or long-term care pharmacy setting preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to make sound decisions, prioritize tasks, and focus on detailed information.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- General proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel within the state of Ohio and occasionally to surrounding areas.
